Joan Manuel Serrat acted, as a guest of the Niemeyer Center, at the Palacio Valdés Theatre in Avilés. The concert took place on Sunday, the 14th June, from 20.15 pm onwards and it's providing a setting for the 100 x 100 Serrat Tour.
The Avilés recital, where the singer-songwriter was accompanied by his habitual pianist, Richard Miralles, allowed us to come closer to the work essence of one of the most important creators in the history of contemporary music and also to enjoy, in an incomparable environment, the innermost Serrat.
The prices settled by the Niemeyer Centre for this concert were the following ones:
-20 € for stalls
-15 € for first and second floor stalls
-5 € for general topgallery
The Niemeyer Center wants, with these prices, to go on with its philosophy of programming high quality cultural activities at low prices, so that may culture get closer to the whole society and in order to avoid that nobody ends up without attending to the concert due to economical reasons. Because of that, the Niemeyer Centre keeps always in every activity a huge number of tickets at symbolical prices (5 Euros in that case). A significant fact is that the most expensive ticket for the concert at the Palacio Valdés Theatre will be a 50% cheaper than the most economical in many of the tour concerts.
