Centro Cultural Internacional Oscar Niemeyer

The Niemeyer Center had the honour of watching the singer-songwriter Enrique Morente inaugurate its bill of Christmas concerts in the House of Culture, Avilés. In addition to playing their standard repertoire, the artists added a festive touch to the concert by each playing a Christmas tune. Morente attended the event with his family who, in response to the evening’s entertainment filled with great emotion and sentiment, initiated rapturous applause by the packed audience. As a finishing touch, the piper Tejedor played accompanying music to Angel González’s poem Another Time Will Come recited by Enrique Morente.
